I had a Substack livestream with Meghan Daum to discuss how pediatric gender medicine is covered in the media (not well) and the upcoming Supreme Court case about pediatric gender medicine.
On the matter of "do assaults and harassment of females by males happen in female spaces that trans-identified males (TIMs) are allowed in or unisex spaces", the answer is yes. Here are examples:
TIM who exposed himself to a 15-year-old at a GA Planet Fitness arrested:
I think Meghan is right, in my circle I often find that this issue is conflated with gay rights. I also find that they think the field of "affirming care" operates the way it did ~30 years ago, ie, that clients are required to go through extensive psychological evaluations, must "live in their preferred gender" for two years, etc. This ignorance enables them to say any opposition is just a product of right-wing intolerance
I need to come up with an elevator speech to bring them up to speed, because there is so much to say that it's overwhelming to them.
While not involved in these issues or indeed in the USA there are interesting legal moves afoot in The UK . Our Supreme Court will begin to hear an appeal (26th Nov. 24) brought by the Courts in Scotland regarding legislation passed by the Scottish Parliament in 2018. Long story short part of the legislation defined a "woman" , includes a person who has the protected characteristic of gender reassignment"........ In short the court will be asked to decide "What does woman mean?" Source is Joshua Rozenberg <rozenberg@substack.com>.
The stupidity of the far left astounds me if they just said we wanted only transgender surgery for adults they would have won the argument but no then they had to go for kids and they lose everything there's something in poker called over playing your hand and that's what they did
Getting pretty tired of the faux sympathy for McBride (who is largely responsible for convincing Biden to strip women and girls of rights on day 1 of his administration). Of course McBride didn't announce in advance his intention to use the women's bathroom; this doesn't even make sense in theory.
Was he supposed to tweet out his advanced plans to use the women's room? Call the capitol up and let them know? No, he was just going to show up and dare anyone to do something. Anyone falling for his line about "well I had no intention anyway" is an easily manipulated fool.
Do you know why DeWine signed the Ohio law? Because there's support for it. Just like there's support for Mace, and support for returning to women-only spaces.
This might seem off topic is there any good studies on gender affirming care I heard somewhere 60 to studies found a correlation that the care does not improve mental health at all but could cause suicide is there any studies you know like that
Jesse Singal is coming out with a book on youth gender medicine that should be published in 2025.
On the topic generally, I recommend a book called Sex Science Self by Bob Ostertag, which gets into some of the problems with the way the trans community conceives of hormone and cross-sex hormone therapy.
Can't really use Google because Google's search engine is so biased towards legacy Media outlets it's not even funny most of the stuff you'll find on the topics nothing but pro transgender propaganda

Thanks for that systematic review was pretty good but do you know any other system I refuse like that

This one isn’t quite what you mean, but is enlightening. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38829183/
Thanks but could you recommend some more books on papers on this topic

Hobo Bird thanks but is there anything more up to date that is critical of gender affirming care
Have you tried using this phenomenal resource called 'google'? This isn't cute anymore.
