Thank you for your details of crack pot Reed, a men's rights activist who is harming many via his blatant religious misinformation.

When I think of Reed, and others who promote gender ideology and gender "care" while also partaking of it, it reminds me of how drug addicts act when justifying their habit. Their world view is perceived via a lens that justifies their habit. Imagine if there was a $billion PR and lobby industry whose purpose was to promote the idea heroin addiction was a right and as natural as breathing. Imagine how the ideas and sales avenues created by this industry would sound to people who are herion addicts. Finally, they can use drugs at work and be accepted in doing do. The ideas supporting this would become more like a religion and nothing anyone said could get them to change their minds.

If one looks at the studys Reed uses to support his claims, one will find wild claims based on meaningless online polls, low quality studies that count 9 months of placebo after which people do terrible and 3rd hand accounts of nurse notes that were never intended to be used to support the idea that people were happy with "care". UK medical group BMJ report gender dysphoria in youth is rising explains why some think gender care helps. its not based on evidence. its based on wild claims of quacks who are getting rich harming vulnerable people. Amsterdam gov has 50 years of data of people who use gender meds long term. they say people on these meds die early 2x more than ave. another study found that after taking gender meds for a certain period, suicide rates go up 20X.

Heres an article in USA Today about Cass Review, in case you havent read it.

'Extreme caution': Cass Review raises red flags on gender-affirming care for trans kids

Maybe the right course of action lies between the extremes. With more children experiencing gender dysphoria than ever before, some humility is demanded among both critics and activists.

I just do not understand why these activists aren’t interested in improving the gender-affirming model of healthcare. I think it’s a good start, but improving it shouldn’t be considered transphobic.
